Slovak producer and DJ Good Mood has painted his first music album ‘Akvareal’. "When I lacked musical inspiration, I painted," says DJ and producer (from Zvolen) Good Mood. The result is an original project - a music album that is intimately connected to the author's paintings - watercolours. "I called the album ‘Akvareal’, and I blended together everything that has appealed to me musically in recent years," adds Good Mood, who already has a number of individually released tracks and remixes under his belt. The 10 tracks on the album are a selection of the best of recent times and offer a journey into the artist's emotional world.

Akvareal combines delicate aural electronica with euphoric dance tracks, playful improvisation, and industrial experimentation. It is thus reminiscent of a palette on which new and new layers of colour are added over time. And it is this process that gives the resulting work its unmistakable authorial expression. The album works perfectly as a whole, but also as individual paintings. "You can enjoy my album as a complete one-hour exhibition, but feel free to enjoy it one track at a time - like my paintings hanging in your living room," smiles Good Mood.
